The venue is by agreement . It can be in Btittanny France Phone John UK on 01278 784036 to discuss or drop an email to john@puriton.eclipse.co.uk

Individuals who have little computer experience and would feel at a disadvantage in purchasing a CD course or attending a full day workshop. John understands the need to teach basic skills with understanding.

Those that have previously attended a LearnTrading workshop may just need a refresher. If you have been trading for a while and you are in a “Rut” probably developing bad habits John will put you back on the right track practically and mentally.

If you have a small group of friends or colleagues that you want for a small full day session for beginners on either Forex or Spread Betting then perhaps arranging this individually as a private session would be more suitable. Price by negotiation

Please note: John does not give tuition in Private houses (except where disability or similar is the reason)

John only teaches in “Live Trading Conditions therefore Monday to Fridays only each 1 to 1 day is subject to agreement of the content and subjects to be covered beforehand. John DOES NOT give private tuition revision to those who have not traded with REAL money.

I to 1 sessions are only held by John and limited to a few times a month and your first date may not be available. We will contact you to confirm all details. John also part lives in France at his home in Brittanny especially during the Summer months you may wish to combine a short French Break with John - this can be arranged -

Hi John,

I thought I would drop you a quick note to thank you very much for a wonderful course. It was very educational. I wanted a course that would get me off the right footing and this did just that . Better still to keep me trading for years to come. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I would not hesitate to recommend you to anyone. Your personal coaching is first class and you taught me exactly what I needed and told me a few home truths as well - now I can face it- Thanks

Albert

Some e-mail responses regarding my CD Courses , training and support – Please note that these are all unsolicited and sent by the traders of their own free will. All these received in the past few months. John Bartlett Trading Instructor.

Hi John, I came on your course about two months ago and have recently written to you for some advice as I couldn't help losing! You advised me to stick at it and practise the basics as you taught me. Well I am pleased to say things have changed slightly. I have had three winning weeks in a row collecting 99,65,and 53 points respectively. My target is 50 a week, like you suggested, so I'm more than pleased. Also, the VT software really is superb, I can't believe it's free! Anyway, hope you and Shep are doing fine. Craig Buntain 2007

Dear JB, Just a note to check you received discs and cheque sent 1st class early last week? Very engrossing stuff and an enjoyable 'learn' - thank god i went to college as an adult so i can appreciate the time scale involved in essentially learning a skill. Currently knocked a little sideways by quick cable fall! Couldn't resist not staying within 5 pc loss with 'dollar at all time low', that'll teach me! lets hope the BOE and ECH keep things as they are. See myself moving up to real money sometime after the next 6 months at least. thanks again Tim Bailey 2007

Hi John, Well, it has been a while since I attended the course back on the 6th July. I am now trading live. I had taken some fairly hefty losses (less than 5%) per trade but I have managed to get back to my starting bank. There is better news too, last month I had managed a 10% return on my starting bank, which is a couple steps in the right direction. Clearly, I am very happy with this as I had not achieved anything like this before I attended your course. Thank you very much. My new challenge is that I am looking for another broker. Worldspreads has a cut off at 21:15 and not open until 07:00 the following day, this had prevented me from making certain interventions. Is there a broker or two you could suggest. I am fully aware you have to be careful what you recommend and to whom. It would be of great use to me. You might be kind enough to inform me who you currently use. Once again, I would greatly appreciate your input and look forward to hearing from you. Warmest regards Mark Brown 2007

Hey John, Thanks for your quick reply. I think I may have discovered what was wrong .I've just spent too long looking at charts for the last three weeks ! Every single night is not good. I knew I had spent too long on them when i was waiting for my train and while staring at the tracks all I could think was......that looks like a couple of Bollinger bands ! I turned my computer off, went out for a night out with my friends, and took a break. Low and behold I come back and make twenty points in my next trade-following the parabolic SAR, Bollinger bands and the four time charts. It was up at forty pips but I raised my stop loss to guarantee the twenty.....and because my daily target is 10 I was very pleased ! I think I just needed a wee break. It's good to know you are there and I'll definitely be staying in touch. Good luck with your trades. Craig B 2007

Hi John - Just checking whether you have received the other CD I sent back on Friday. I have gone through the CD about 3 times now and I have to say I am enjoying it because each time I go over it I pick something new and exciting. I suppose it's because of information retention and processing. I have to say your CD is very good for beginners because when I left the seminar I felt a bit discouraged because there was too much to learn in one day especially for someone starting like myself. Since I have gone through your CD, I have realised all is possible. I am trying to take everything you said on board and avoid taking too much information at this stage. I am only studying the chart patterns and indicators you taught us and will do the demo and first trading just basing on those few and expand when I have mastered these few. Once again, thanks John for all knowledge. Tarasai G 2007

Hi John, Just an update to let you know that trading is going well. I am trading two days a week using VT. Am placing on average two to three well considered trades each week. Last week resulted in closing profit from two trades of $920 & $867 total $1,787. This week so far I have profit $1,887.28 from a single successful trade. Three weeks ago saw a loss of $1,179. I am still learning and thoroughly enjoying it. Thanks to you and your strategies I am trading without emotion and am very glad I made the decision to go ahead with Learntrading. Will keep in touch, Kind regards Sarah T-M 2007

Thanks John, I have just received the CD today. I will try to put the other one in the post tomorrow. By the way, I am enjoy every step of the learning. I am currently going through the CD as well as reading on the charts and indicators you have taught us. As from today, I have decided that everyday I have to analyse charts, practise drawing some indicators and hopefully beginning of November I will start practising the demo account. I know from this moment, I will start asking lots of questions. Thanks for everything! T. G. 2007-11-27

Dear John, we just spoke and I’ll reiterate how impressed i was at the series of charting videos that have had me engrossed for the last few hours... only minutes before and after trawling through all the other American crap (I’m even booked on a 'seminar' (!) i was thinking how am i going to get someone to take me through all of this and there you were.. brilliantly done and a bargain for 200 quid. I'll be dragging my partner in crime along to a workshop in the near future. Many thanks again Regards Tim B 2007

Hi John. I attended your excellent course at Rookery Manor last November (17th) After a couple of very half hearted attempts to follow your course earlier this year owing to other things taking priority and feeble excuses I've recently picked up the material again and I'm having a bit of success 70/30 (Win/losses) with a demo account on VT. Most of my losses so far have been down to Buying when I meant to Sell and vice versa :-) I'm using the Tornado Trend system and find it to be a very clear and simple indicator, however I'm having difficulty in adding the formula to VT using the 'Add Trading System' in the menu. Can you advise me how to do this? I've saved the Tornado Trend as a 'Desk Top Template' as you suggest but applying this this reverts the application back to one currency as per my original setup every time I've setup several currencies with the TTS. Should I do this manually each time I set it up and then re save my template? I know that would make sense but I'd like to have the TTS saved as a Trading System. I hope this makes sense and I look forward to hearing from you. Regards David H 2007

Hi John, I hope you are well. I attended one of your workshops a good few years ago and also purchased the tornado system a few years ago too. The course and CD was excellent but unfortunately due to work and family commitments I was unable to put all to good use. I recently found the CD again and have installed the VT system and watched the CD this morning and have now committed to making this work for me. I am considering coming down for another workshop soon too. A quick question. I have just downloaded the setups for VT from your website but am unsure of how to load them as the VT I have loaded is a newer one that was demo'd on your cd. Thanks in advance for your help and hope to see you soon. Regards Rab R 2007

Dear John, I have completed your beginners guide to the Forex, your charting CD and also your Tornado trading system. Firstly I would like to say how delighted I am with my purchase, you explain everything in a clear and precise manner. With the live data feeds free these are all excellent value for money. Regards Clive Holland (Thailand) 2007-11-27

Dear John, Once again many thanks for your prompt reply and, once again, it worked immediately. I didn't want to phone you as I read that you were resting your bones in La Belle France and I knew you wouldn't want to put down your glass of Cotes du Rhone to speak to me. I find that no matter what I learn about computers there's always that little bit unknown extra that flummoxes me. Regards, Jack S 2007

Dear John, I feel rather guilty about not having communicated with you earlier. I am enduring a "family holiday" at Poole Harbour and spend most of my time seeing that everyone is enjoying themselves ! Fun, Fun Fun for the young but a lot of hard work, cooking and bottle washing for my generation ! I so much enjoyed the course and it has helped me in every way including putting things in perspective. It would seem that Forex is a less scary ride at the moment than Equities and Indices and I shall be spending much time working on the dummy platforms before committing real money I have been fairly shaken by the volatility in the markets and was slightly caught by the Fed's half point cut in the discount rate. Being short was not clever at that point ! Maybe you are in France right now and if so you have made a wise choice as the weather here is as about as unsettled as the markets. Very hard to plan one's activities. My wife has had a flying lesson (taster) at Bournemouth Airport cancelled three times in the last week as the wind has been too strong It does however suit the Windsurfers and Kite Surfers. Anyway as you have probably already gathered I thought your course was absolutely First Class. Thank you very much for sending the CD. I now have much homework and long for a better opportunity to get stuck in. Very many thanks Best wishes Robert. T 2007

Hi Pip Hunters I hope you are all well. Just thought I would let you all know that I am now trading full time and holding trades from 2-7days. I am using Johns indicators and only trading on a off a 4 hour chart and waiting until the candle has gone through and not touching the bottom or top 55 MAs while making sure the 13 and 21 has crossed over. There is another indicator that John did not mention which is a CCI short for Commodity Channel Index. This is a phenomenal indicator which is also so simple. It basically tells you what John has already told us, Buy High Buy Higher or Sell Low Sell Lower. Most traders are trying to look for tops and bottoms which is very hard. A CCI is most commonly used on commodities and not the forex which is why most people have not heard of it. I have had the privilege to meet a successful commodity trader that only trades about once a week making 200 pips per week by using this trending indicator and both he and I have an 85% success rate. I think the most important advice I can give to you is use Johns indicators with the CCI and be very patient. Only trade when all the indicators line up on a 4 hour chart no lower and just follow the trend until it comes back up and hits lower or 55 MAs or the 13 or 21 cross over. To achieve an 85% success rate you must not trade any lower than a 4 hour chart. The power is so great using this time frame that by the time 4 to 12 hours has gone past this momentum it is going to take a lot to stop it. With the CCI (set at 20) when it goes higher than 100 buy or lower than 100 sell, it’s as easy as that! I hope this helps. Kind Regards Nigel (Ian J ) 2007

Dear John -Thanks very much for an excellent - albeit tiring - two days. Thoroughly enjoyed the course and am returning to sunny Snowdonia with renewed confidence to trade as a composed and unemotional professional. Would be great if you could send through the following as discussed earlier today: CD ROM on Scalping. (the million dollar CD). Thanks again and I have cc'd all the guys to make it easier when you reply all. Sarah T 2007

Hello John, I received my software and started the lessons. I just wanted to tell that you are a fantastic educator and you have help to demystify the world stock market for me. I will review the lessons several times and will follow your instructions. If I have any question I will be in touch. Sincerely yours, Horace Delapenha 2007

Hi John thanks for your response, It's good to know you are there. Yes I have been scalping, following your guidance from the course using the 60,30,5 and 1 minute timeframes. Looking at them all initially to try and establish a trend for the day. Then concentrating on the 5 minute only. I seem to have a problem in knowing when to get out or move my stop and either end up with nothing or a small gain. Thanks also for the link to your Youtube video, I think for it to be of any use to me I need to do a bit more on the chart pattern recognition. Anyway the journey continues and I am enjoying it immensely. Thanks again John and further guidance much appreciated. Best regards Paul H 2007
